As usual the Cryptologic powered InterCasino has announced its tournaments for November. As usual they are holding tournaments in three interesting games.

The first event titled Texas Hold’em Special has already begun and will run till the 10th of November. It is based on poker’s most popular format Texas Hold’em Poker and will be played on the Multi Player Texas Hold’em game on offer at InterCasino. The tournament has an entry fee of $10, which is deducted from the player’s account when he signs up for the tournament. A player can participate any time during the tournament period. Each player is given playing credits worth $500 at the start of the tournament. These credits are meant only for wagering and cannot be cashed. Only the prize money given to the winners can be cashed. After being given the credits the player is given 30 minutes to play. In this time he must endeavor to increase his balance as much as he can. Players need not utilize their full 30 minutes if they do not want to. The eight players with the highest balance at the end of 30 minutes of play will be declared winners. They will share the prize pool of $500 in the following manner. The player who places first will get $250, the player who places second will get $100 and the next six players will get $25 each. The tournament provides a live leader board so that players know where they stand.

The second tournament, The English Pub Tournament, will run from the 11th of November to the 20th of November. The format is identical to the Texas Hold’em Tournament. However this tournament will be played on the Fruit Fight online slots. Fruit Fight is a classic 3-reel slot from Cryptologic. It has coin values of $0.25, $0.50 and $1.00. There is no progressive jackpot but a fixed jackpot of 2,000 coins. The features available in this online slot game are Nudge & Hold, Hi/Lo Gamble, Bonus Round and Prize Ladder. When a player hits a winning combination he can go for the Hi/Lo gamble. If he guesses the gamble correctly, he will move up the Prize Ladder. However if the player guesses incorrectly then he will lose the gamble and the board will return to regular play.

The last tournament for the month is the Classic Casino Solitaire. It will run from the 21st November till the end of the month. Again the format is the same but the game is Casino Solitaire. This is a rather different casino game and the tournament will be both interesting and competitive. The objective of the game is to move the dealt cards into suited stacks. A win meter displays the payout depending on the player’s success in meeting the objective.
