In a press release from London eCOGRA has announced that it has given its “Safe and Fair” seal of approval to three online portals. Last month eCOGRA had announced that it was expanding its range of partners from online casinos and online poker rooms to online sports books and online bingo halls. It had also announced that the preparatory work in this regard had been completed and assessment of some gambling portals was underway. Accordingly one of those granted the seal of approval is a sports book and two are bingo halls.

The sports book is the Vienna based Interwetten. Interwetten was founded in 1990 with the objective of providing sports betting services over telephone. Today it is one of the largest sports betting companies in Europe with a turnover of €320 million and over 900,000 registered customers in 200 countries. Last year alone Interwetten accepted 11 million sports bets. Interwetten also offers online casino and poker gambling. It is a member of the European Gaming and Betting Association and the European Sports Security Association. The Chief Executive Officer of Interwetten, Thomas Daubek, said that its operations, software and responsible gambling systems had undergone a detailed scrutiny from the eCOGRA team and it is to the credit of the management and the staff that Interwetten passed the test with flying colors. He assured customers that the high level of player safety and service that has been achieved by Interwetten will be maintained under the continuous monitoring by eCOGRA.

One of the online bingo portals to get eCOGRA’s approval is All Bingo Club. It is a brand of the Jackpot Factory online gambling group. The leading online casino of this group is All Slots Casino. The casinos and poker rooms of this online group are already carrying the eCOGRA seal. Now All Bingo Club is one of the first online bingo halls to be recognized by eCOGRA. The other bingo hall to get the accreditation is Platinum Play Bingo. This bingo hall is a brand of the Fortune Lounge group, which boasts of online casinos like Platinum Play, Royal Vegas and 7 Sultans. All Fortune Lounge casinos too carry eCOGRA’s seal of approval. In fact Fortune Lounge was one of the first groups to be awarded the seal. On getting the approval a spokesman for the Fortune Lounge group said, “This is a tough test, but it brings with it real advantages in operational efficiencies and improved business.”
